Before we can talk about our life of everyday, we thought it would be appropriate to give a little history. For this we will go in chronological order. Which means we start with Josh. (Oh by the way, the histories will be written by the discussed family member.)
Josh- Well, what can I say about myself. I am the baby of my family. I have two older brothers and an older sister. (You will meet them later) I have two loving parents that always keep me thinking. Oh and the best part is that I am Italian. I know ladies... an Italian blogger. What could be more hot?!?
I went to school to have a lucrative career in theatre. I am still waiting for that day to come. I absolutely love all aspects of theatre. My specialty is Lighting Design and Stage Management. Theatre has played such an important role for me. In fact, it was through theatre that I met my wonderful and beautiful wife Christina. I was in charge of the Fullerton College High School Theatre Festival and Christina was one of my volunteers. I saw her and it was love at first sight. Yeah, I know what you are saying, "This guy dated his own volunteer..." Well yeah I did and it was the best thing to ever happen to me.
Over the course of our dating, Christina re-introduced me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This is where I fell in love with the Temple. We eventually got sealed in the Newport Beach California Temple for Time and All Eternity. I thought this was the happiest day of my life until our son Aaron was born. (More to follow on this soon) With this brief history of myself, I will pass the keyboard to Christina to share a little about herself.
Christina- I guess the best place to start would be at the very beginning, a very good place to start. I was born in Westminster, CA to Scot and Janene. I am their first and only child. My parents divorced when I was about 2 or 3 years old. My mom remarried and had my sister when I was almost 9.
So that's my family before I met Josh. You can pretty much get the gist of how we met from his words, but for me it wasn't love at first sight. It took me awhile longer than that to get some sense knocked into me and realize that he is the love of my life. Once this sank in I couldn't wait until the day we were married. It may not have been my dream wedding, but it was a perfect day and everything I could have possibly hoped for.
Things haven't always been easy for us, but I love every minute of it. Especially now that we are parents. The happiest moment in my life was when our son, Aaron, was born. I'll probably post my feelings about that experience later.
So that about sums things up. Would you like to add anything to this Aaron?
Aaron- gthuytfbr6n buhj7yugu76gts (Yes Aaron is only 15 days old and he can type... with his feet and Daddy's help.) The translation of his thoughts are, "I am so cute. I am really cute. I think I have a hard life, because everyone caters to me. Oh I am so hungry. Hey, where is that mom of mine. I need to eat." (Keep in mind that this is probably the literal translation of his typing)
We hope you have enjoyed this first post by the Insalaco Family. Stay tuned for more to come. Film at 11 on that one.

Awww..this was nice to read! And I have to say: what a gorgeous photo of your family!
ReplyDeleteNice work guys. Love the photos. You may think the typing's cute, but wait until Aaron can pick up the mouse and keyboard and throw them down the stairs. :)
