What a week

So it's Sunday night and we wanted to stay true to what we said and post an update.  This is Josh typing.  Christina asked me to write in the blog today.  This week was pretty uneventful.  Work was pretty hard this week and I thought that it would never end.  However, there was something that kept me going.  It was the excitement of being with my family at the end of the day.  Without getting too emotional, I thought I would use this time to share my thoughts so far on parenthood.

First of all, it is probably the hardest thing I have EVER experienced.  Babies are a ton of work.  Your life revolves around them.  When they cry, you have to play detective to try to solve the problem.  I have found that they cry usually when they are hungry, lonely, upset, messy. etc.  Basically, they cry to communicate.  That is tough when you are driving and your baby is crying and there is nothing you can do about it.  Frustrating.  Although it is hard and frustrating, it is by far the greatest gift and experience I have ever had.  I LOVE being a daddy.  The hard times are so worth it when I see Aaron smile or give a quick laugh.  He is so beautiful and I am grateful to go through the hard work for the moment of joy.  Before Aaron was born, everyone said that my life was going to change.  Boy they were right and I couldn't be happier.  I thought I knew what love was when I married Christina.  No class or book can prepare you for the love you feel for your child.  It is awesome and I would not trade it for anything.

So enough about my feelings... this blog is to keep people updated on what's going on in our family.  The only thing that really happend this week was that we were able to pick up our professional photos from JC Penny.  I have included some of my favs below.  Enjoy this weeks picture montage.  Come back next week.
